De rechtbank heeft een uitspraak gedaan in de zaak IOC / FCI:

• De FCI mag de Olympische ringen niet meer gebruiken, noch de term "Olympiade", "Olympische"... 
• De FCI mag de termen FCI Racing Pigeon Olympiad (Engels) en Olympiade Colombophile FCI (Frans) blijven gebruiken. Het gebruik van "Olympiade" wordt dus wel toegestaan maar enkel in combinatie met de term "Racing Pigeons" of "Colombophile" of uiteraard "duiven" in het Nederlands.
• De FCI vraagt om reeds bestaand gepubliceerd materiaal aan te passen zodat het aan deze regels voldoet.

The court has issued a ruling in the IOC / FCI case:

• The FCI may no longer use the Olympic rings, nor the term "Olympiad", "Olympic"...
• The FCI may continue to use the terms FCI Racing Pigeon Olympiad (English) and Olympiade Colombophile FCI (French). The use of "Olympiad" is therefore permitted, but only in combination with the term "Racing Pigeons" or "Colombophile".
• The FCI requests that existing published material be adapted to comply with these rules.
