Na de recordverkoop van 2020 (€518.100 voor 73 duiven) werd de editie 2021 opnieuw een knaller van formaat met een totaalopbrenst van €467.800 voor 75 duiven of €6237,33 gemiddeld!
Hiermee blijkt eens te meer dat Willem absolute wereldtop is, en dat zijn duiven ook uitermate gewaardeerd en gegeerd worden wereldwijd.
Liefst 234 bieders uit 20 verschillende landen namen deel aan de veiling.
Uiteindelijk verhuisden de duiven naar China (16), Duitsland (16), België (13), Polen (9), Nederland (8), Japan (6), Taiwan (4), Qatar (2) en Italie (1).
De duurste duiven waren "Zoon Hurricane" (€50.200), "Dochter Murphy's Law" (€37.200), "Zoon Murphy's Law" (€36.200), "Dochter Phoebe" (€27.000), "Zuster Uranus" (€25.600), "Zoon Murphy's Law" (€25.200) etc.
De twee duiven in de loterij na afloop van de veiling werden gewonnen door Robin Cools (België) en Lucian Barboi (Roemenië).
Wij zijn er, samen met Willem, van overtuigd dat we binnen enkele jaren weer veel zullen horen van nazaten van de duiven die vandaag verkocht werden. Goeie duiven, en al de rest is larie!

After the record auction of 2020 (€518,100 for 73 pigeons), the edition of 2021 turned out to be another blast! The 75 young bids were auctioned for a total of €467,800, or an average of €6,237.33 per pigeon! This proves once again Willem is top class, and his pigeons are highly valued and sought after worldwide.
234 Fanciers from 20 countries participated in the auction. The pigeons will move to China (16), Germany (16), Belgium (13), Poland (9), the Netherlands (8), Japan (6), Taiwan (4), Qatar (2) and Italy (1).
Most expensive pigeons were "Son Hurricane" (€50,200), "Daughter Murphy's Law" (€37,200), "Son Murphy's Law" (€36,200), "Daughter Phoebe" (€27,000), "Sister Uranus" (€25,600), "Son Murphy's Law" (€25,200) etc.
Also congratulations to Robin Cools (Belgium) and Lucian Barboi (Romania) who both won a young bird in the lottery after the auction.
We and Willem are convinced we will hear a lot in the coming years of offspring the pigeons sold today. Good pigeons, all the rest is humbug!
